Project Pure Vida

Pura Vida is my model for a human centered community in less developed regions of the earth, modeled after Costa Rica with focus on sustainability, conservation, and innovation. With much of the world living in conditions of poverty and deprived of basic needs such as clean water and shelter, access to these 3 key ingredients to a dignified life must be a top priority. The first stage of this plan would ensure basic needs for every person in this community. With this goal reached our focus would then be redirected towards the surrounding environment. Given the current climate change issues and fragile natural resources, a sustainable plan will be implemented to sustainably harvest the resources around them while conserving them. The third stage of the plan will be to encourage new innovations, combining approaches and voices from Russia, the USA, Guatemala and Costa Rica  to create an ever growing platform for ideas and follow-through that can be implemented by local governments and community groups. An international “pipeline” exchange of ideas, assistance and then mutual fair trade.
